January 2010
Dear Fellow Scrapbookers & Stampers:
We have all been affected by the economy in some way during the last 15 months. Many people have lost their jobs or had their pay reduced, while others have had to take unpaid days off and some have lost significant amounts of their retirement funds. All these things have made people reduce their spending, especially in the scrapbooking and stamping industry.
Therefore, after reviewing all of my options I have decided to close The Scrap & Stamp Station, LLC. Our last day of business will be Sunday, January 24. The following is a chart of the discounts we will be offering beginning Monday, December 28. Please bring a bag with you for carrying home your purchases.
Customers listed in computer database:
Jan. 4 – Jan. 9: 25% off
Jan. 11 – Jan. 16: 35% off
Jan. 18 – Jan. 22: 45% off
Sunday, January 24: 60% off
Cardstock and adhesives are not included in the discounts. We will be selling the store fixtures as well. Call if you have any interest in paper racks, gridwall, hangers, shelves, etc.
From my heart, I thank you for shopping at my store these last 3 years. I have appreciated your patronage and enjoyed getting to know you better. I will miss seeing you, talking with you, making cards with you and scrapbooking with you. God bless you and keep you.
Classroom Available for Crafters:
Drop in any time and use our classroom to finish all those craft projects you are working on. Come work on your Christmas cards, gift albums or any craft project you need to finish. If you need a small project or two, we have ideas, supplies and all the help you need. Cost is only $5 and we have lots of classroom equipment available for you to use. The classroom is not available during scheduled classes.

Rental & Equipment Usage Fees:
Stamp Rentals - $1 per night per stamp or $5 per night for a complete set, with a credit card on file.
Cropping space is $5 during non-crop and non-class times; however, this will be refunded if you spend $20 during your personal cropping time. During this time, you may use any of the classroom equipment such as the cutting systems, templates, dies, punches, pens, scissors, alphabet stamps, personal cutters, etc.
Private Cricut lessons offered:
Our resident Cricut expert, Cheryl Sexton-Lemay, has agreed to teach one-on-one or group Cricut lessons. Cost is $25 per hour for a one-on-one lesson. Group lessons are also available for groups of two (2) or more. If you are interested in a private lesson, call Cheryl at 303-255-8175 and schedule your class. Classes will be held here at the store, during the day or after hours. If you prefer a group lesson, put together your own group and then call Cheryl to negotiate the cost and schedule a time for your class. If you don’t have your own machine yet, and want to see what all the excitement is about, schedule a demo with Cheryl and try out the Cricut before you buy one.
One-on-One Stamping Lessons:
Several people have asked me to do a class on stamping techniques, but schedules just never seem to work out. So…if you would like to learn about stamping, the difference between pigment and dye inks, how to emboss, how to use watercolor pencils, what Twinkling H2Os are good for and more, then call the store and schedule your own personal stamping lesson. Cost is $25 for a 1-2 hour class and all supplies are provided. Put together a group of three (3) or more and the cost is $15 per person.
Kind Regards,
Wendy Knipple
