Classroom Available for Crafters


Drop in any time and use our classroom to finish all those craft projects you are working on. Come work on your Christmas cards, gift albums or any craft project you need to finish. If you need a small project or two, we have ideas, supplies and all the help you need. Cost is only $5 and we have lots of classroom equipment available for you to use. The classroom is not available during scheduled classes.

Crop Schedule for January 2010 - January 2010

  • Check calendar webpage to verify Saturday crops, these dates change occasionally due to holidays.
  • The cost to crop outside of scheduled crop sessions is $5; however this fee will be refunded if you spend $20 that day.  This includes use of the classroom tools and equipment.  No refreshments are provided.
  • Registration: Pre-payment is required at time of registration.  Register in the store or by calling 303-451-0900.  We accept cash, checks, VISA, MasterCard and Discover.  All crops require prepaid registration.  Crops are limited to 10 people and may be cancelled if a minimum of 5 is not attained.
  • Cancellation Policy: Crops must be cancelled with at least 48 hours notice to receive a store credit.  Cancellations after that will forfeit prepaid fees.



Mother/Daughter Crop – Third Friday of the Month from 5pm – 1 am:
Daughters age 10 and older may accompany their mothers to the Ladies’ Night Out Crop. The cost $15 per mother/daughter couple, which includes snacks and soft drinks. Prepaid reservations required.

All Day/All Night Crop – First & Third Saturdays of the Month from 10 am – Midnight or later:
Cost is $15, which includes snacks, soft drinks and lunch or dinner. Prepaid reservations required.

Tea & Cookies Crops – Every Wednesday from 10 am – 5 pm:
Bring a special friend and come crop the day away. A delicious snack is always provided along with a variety of teas. Cropping space is $5, but fee is waived if you spend $20 during this crop.

Ladies Potluck Crop – Third Wednesday of the Month:
Bring your favorite dish to share with 8 croppers. Then crop the day away with good friends, good food and good times. The crop is FREE; sign-up is not mandatory, but highly recommended.

Mom & Me Crops – First Tuesday of the Month from 10 am – 4 pm:
Bring your child/children* for a fun few hours of cropping. Cost is $2 per person and includes two pieces of cardstock per person and two stickers ($1 value or less). Prepaid reservations are required. *Parents are responsible for their children at all times.

Classes Being Offered in January 2010:
  • Select samples are on display in the store and on this webpage.
  • Kits are available for almost all of our classes.
  • Participants are responsible for bringing their own adhesives and basic equipment (e.g., scissors, paper trimmer, ruler, paper piercer, paint brushes, etc.) to every class.

Scrapbook Pages Class – Thursday, January 7 from 6-8 pm:
Come make 3 one-page scrapbook pages using the newest papers, stickers and embellishments. Photos can be added at a later date. Cost is $15. Prepaid reservations are required.

Intro to Scrapbooking – Tuesday, January 12 from 6-8 pm:
This is a class for beginners and/or those who have never scrapbooked. Bring 8-10 photos of the same event, a good pair of scissors, adhesives and any other supplies or equipment you have. I will talk about album types, paper types, equipment, adhesives and more…then we will create your first two scrapbook pages. Cost is $15. Prepaid reservations are required.

Thank You Cards Class – Thursday, January 14 from 1-3 pm & 6-8 pm:
Join us and make six (6) wonderful thank you cards. We can all use them at this time of year. Cost is $20 and a limited number of extra kits will be available. Please bring with you to class tape runner, pop dots, mini glue dots, a 2-way glue pen, scissors and a trimmer. Prepaid reservations are required. Kits are available.

Cheryl’s Card Class – Tuesday, January 19 from 6-8 pm:
Come join our creative genius Cheryl to make 4 unique pop-up cards. In this class Cheryl will teach you two new techniques to making pop-up cards. Cheryl’s cards are so unique you won’t want to give them away, but when you do all your friends will be raving. Cost is $15 and includes everything except adhesives. Bring scissors and a paper trimmer with you to class. Preregistration is required. Kits are available.

Chick -Fil-A Make & Take – Tuesday, January ?? (date to be announced. Watch website calendar) from 5-8 pm AT THE LOCAL CHICK-FIL-A:
Come have dinner at Chick-Fil-A, kids get a free meal and an ice cream cone with purchase of an adult meal. Then you can watch/help your children make a Snowflake project. Cost of Make & Take is Free. Dinner is on you ☺.

Great Impressions Stamp Class – Thursday, January 21 from 1-3 pm and 6-8 pm:
Come make six (6) fabulous & fun Valentine’s cards using wonderful stamps designed by Great Impressions. All class materials are supplied, except for adhesives. Cost is $20. Prepaid reservations are required. If you can’t make the class, stamped kits are also available for $20. Cards are displayed on the website.

Other Classes Offered
Private Cricut Lessons:
Our resident Cricut expert, Cheryl Sexton-Lemay, has agreed to teach one-on-one or group Cricut lessons. Cost is $25 per hour for a one-on-one lesson. Group lessons are also available for groups of two (2) or more. If you are interested in a private lesson, call Cheryl at 303-255-8175 and schedule your class. Classes will be held here at the store, during the day or after hours. If you prefer a group lesson, put together your own group and then call Cheryl to negotiate the cost and schedule a time for your class. If you don’t have your own machine yet, and want to see what all the excitement is about, schedule a demo with Cheryl and try out the Cricut before you buy one.

One-on-One Stamping Lessons:
Several people have asked me to do a class on stamping techniques, but schedules just never seem to work out. So…if you would like to learn about stamping, the difference between pigment and dye inks, how to emboss, how to use watercolor pencils, what Twinkling H2Os are good for and more, then call the store and schedule your own personal stamping lesson. Cost is $25 for a 1-2 hour class and all supplies are provided. Put together a group of three (3) or more and the cost is $15 per person.
