I recently lost my special orders book. I have gotten in many of the items customers have special ordered from companies like We R Memories (albums), K & Company, Notions, and Holly Berry House, but I don’t know who they are for. Don’t Miss the Scrap & Stamp Garage Sale

Saturday, June 13

10 am to 5 pm

The Scrap & Stamp Garage Sale is now a monthly event to be held on the second Saturday of every month. It is an opportunity for you to sell your unused scrapbook or stamping supplies and replace them with new and exciting new supplies. I am expanding the Garage Sale to also accommodate people who would like to sell their homemade crafts. In addition, I will be offering special in-store only sales during the event and plan to discount varying merchandise for one day only. Registration for selling during the event is required. Cost to sell scrapbooking or stamping supplies is $5 for ½ of a table. Cost for selling homemade items is $10 per ½ a table. Cost to shop is FREE! So, if you don’t have anything to sell, come check out the special deals. You may go home with quite a few treasures for a small price.

Thank You For Your Business

Thank you to everyone for your purchases. Every little bit helps. Scrapbook Destinations will close its doors at the end of May and we are all sad to see this happen to an independent store. Independent stores of all types are struggling in these times and most independent businesses don’t have the 18 months of reserves to see them through this economic cycle. You can help by making your purchases with any independent whenever possible. You may think your purchase is insignificant, but each $1 you spend at WalMart, Target or any chain store is a $1 taken away from some independent store. Please help make your purchases from an independent store whenever you are able and help all independent stores to make it through these hard economic times. Otherwise in less than 3-12 months, all that will be left are the big chain stores.

Classes Coming in June

Sweetest Memories Canvas Photo Box – Thursday, June 4 from 6-8 pm:
This Quick Quotes kit is a wonderful coffee table mini album made out of a canvas box, humongo tags and a rich assortment of embellishments. This would make a great Christmas gift for relatives. See photo on website. Cost is $22. All supplies are included, except for adhesives. Bring a pair of scissors with you to class. Prepaid reservations are required. Kits are available.

Chick-Fil-A Make & Take – Tuesday, June 9 from 5-8 pm AT LOCAL CHICK-FIL-A:
Come have dinner at Chick-Fil-A, kids get a free ice cream cone and watch/help your children make a coaster for Dad. Cost of Make & Take is Free. Dinner is on you☺.

Bitty Book in an Acrylic Box – Tuesday, June 9 from 6-8 pm:
This is the ultimate in brag books. Use your wallet sized photos or index photos as you make an incredible brag book for your purse or Grandma's. Everything you need to complete this kit is included except adhesives. Cost is $12. Bring a paper trimmer and a pair of scissors with you to class. Prepaid reservations are required. Kits are available.

Friends Tag Album – Thursday, June 11 from 6-8 pm:
This is a great class for Kids and Teens. In this class you will complete a 10-page tag album that will hold pictures of all your friends from the past year. This is a great way to use those wallet photos you exchanged with each other. Cost is $22 and includes everything except adhesives. Bring scissors and a paper trimmer with you to class. Preregistration is required. Kits are available.

Cheryl’s Card Class – Tuesday, June 16 from 6-8 pm:
Come join our creative genius Cheryl to make 4 unique paper-crafted cards. Cheryl’s cards are so unique you won’t want to give them away, but when you do all your friends will be raving. Cost is $15 and includes everything except adhesives. Bring scissors and a paper trimmer with you to class. Preregistration is required. Kits are available.

Great Impressions Stamp Class – Thursday, June 18 from 1-3 pm and 6-8 pm:
Come make six (6) Ocean Themed All Occasion cards using wonderful stamps designed by Great Impressions. All class materials are supplied, except for adhesives. Cost is $20. Prepaid reservations are required. If you can’t make the class, stamped kits are also available for $20. Cards are displayed on the website.

All stamps for this set of cards are discounted 15-20% during the month of June.

Holly Berry House Class – Tuesday, June 23 from 1-3 pm and 6-8 pm: Holly Berry House Class:
Tuesday, June 23 from 1-3 pm and 6-8 pm. During this class we will be making two framed cards, a Columbine and an Iris. All the card pieces will be pre-stamped and embossed for you. All you’ll have to do is cut, color and adhere. Cost is $20. All supplies are included, except for adhesives. Bring a pair of scissors, 2-3 paint brushes and H2O water color paints with you to class. Prepaid reservations are required. Kits are available.

Journal & Coordinating Notepad Gift Set by Gail Pliszka – Thursday, June 25 from 2-4 pm:
Gail has done it again, making a wonderful personal journal and notepad gift set for you to use for yourself or give to a cherished friend. All supplies are provided, except adhesives. Bring scissors and a paper trimmer with you to class. Cost is $20. Preregistration with prepayment is required. Kits are also available for purchase. Kits are limited, so register soon!

is offering Private Crops & Birthday Parties

Private Crops:
I am now offering private crop sessions. If you would like to have a private crop with just you and your close friends I will rent out the cropping space for $100 per group. I will provide snacks and soft drinks during your crop and use of any of the classroom equipment. You may also bring in outside food or alcoholic beverages (How about a margarita crop?). The max you can comfortable fit in the cropping area is 10 croppers, but the minimum is up to you. You own the cropping space for the entire night. I am willing to stay until 1 am on Friday nights and Midnight on Saturday nights. So, call all of your friends, then call the store at 303-451-0900 to reserve your own private crop.

Birthday Crops:
I am also now offering Birthday crops. Each guest will complete a 12x12 page, a card and a special project. I will also give the Birthday Child a free 8x8 album, so she can scrap her birthday pictures. I am happy to provide the cake, plates, napkins, etc. at cost to you.
